Exclusive interview with City One's Chief Information Officer

Marie-Elisabeth: Welcome to this exclusive interview. Today, we are joined by one of our managed service clients, with whom we will have the honour of sharing and discussing the various projects we are carrying out for them. Without further ado, let's get started with the interview. See you in a moment. So, first of all, welcome to PI Services by Coexya. Could you introduce yourself in a few words and tell us who you are?

Thierry Chevalier: Yes, hello and thank you for the invitation. My name is Thierry Chevalier, and I've been the IT director at City One for almost four years.

Marie-Elisabeth: Okay, great. Can you remind us of the context in which you were working before our collaboration and the issues you encountered in your IT environment?

Thierry Chevalier: Well, I didn't know about PI Services before. When I arrived, the contract was already in place. I am aware of the issue, however, in that there was no IT team, or rather a very small one, consisting of just one person. And that was to provide the user support necessary for the company to function properly.

Marie-Elisabeth: Okay. We have worked together for many years, particularly on various projects. Can you explain to us today what area we are working in and how you experienced the progress of these different projects?

Thierry Chevalier: So, yes, today, managed services make up the largest part of the contract, i.e. user support. And in 2025, project contracts were added. PI Services is helping me with project support, as it's a very large project to outsource my server room to a data centre. Today, I feel supported. PI Services is there to assist me, offer me choices and enable me to make the right decision with their advice and expertise.

Marie-Elisabeth: So tell me, how would you describe the support our teams provide on a daily basis, particularly in terms of availability, communication and incident resolution?

Thierry Chevalier: Today, I have very regular exchanges with the managed services teams. Every month, I have a general meeting with the managed services manager. So I really have the opportunity to assess the quality and issues on a daily basis. Communication is very fluid and regular.

Marie-Elisabeth: Okay, very good. And do you mainly communicate by email or telephone? How does it work? In person?

Thierry Chevalier: We really have both. I communicate a lot by email with the managed service teams. We call the managed service manager regularly if we have any issues, questions or problems with a wide variety of topics.

Marie-Elisabeth: Very good. So, regarding the managed service you just mentioned, looking back, what aspects of our collaboration and the way PI Services manages your IT environment are you most satisfied with?

Thierry Chevalier: The main focus of analysis is really the satisfaction of my users on a daily basis. PI Services is there to, in quotation marks, meet their needs, requirements and issues. So today, it's mainly an internal survey to find out if they are satisfied with PI Services' services, processing times or other day-to-day issues.

Marie-Elisabeth: Okay. In relation to your current project in 2025, what are the prospects for this year? And do you intend to expand and continue working with us in the years to come?

Thierry Chevalier: Yes, as I mentioned earlier, the project is very substantial and will continue into 2026, at least for the first six months of the year. So, of course, we will continue to work with PI Services. For the moment, everything is going well and we are extending the contract into 2026 to provide managed service support and finalise this major project. PI Services is supporting me and raising the level of security at City One. Cybersecurity is really the issue of the moment.

Marie-Elisabeth: OK, very good. In that case, we are very pleased to be working with you and to continue to evolve alongside you with City One.
